You first apply with Pitney Bowes (PB) to join the system. (Click here: www.easypermitpostage.pb.com). Direct Mail Center Mailing House Identification number is LS808070;
Once PB approves your postage credit balance, you’ll simply:
1. go to your computer,
2. log in to Easy Permit Postage web site(www.easypermitpostage.pb.com)
3. enter your own company account via your password, and
4. approve payment of the estimated amount of postage to Direct Mail Center (ID # LS808070).
The system will immediately:
1. Send an e-mail to let us know of your fund transfer.
2. Within a day, the approved amount will be wired to Direct Mail Center’s account, and
3. Your mail can be sent without delay.
4. Once a month, you will recieve by mail a PB statement showing all your funds transfers for the month and allowing you to pay in full or make partial payments.

As General Manager of the Direct Mail Center in San Francisco, Pierre Smit knows only too well the headaches direct mailers face with pre-paid postage. And when they have headaches, he has headaches.
